Attention: |
|
When production of the M-Class began (in the Tuscaloosa/USA works), up to and including the first quarter of 1988 the WMI “4JG” was also used on M-Class vehicles intended for the European market. This WMI is normally only used on vehicles for the North American market. Otherwise the structure of the VIN on these vehicles matches that on European variants. |
