The Cygnet has two type plates – one with the Toyota-VIN so-called level 1 approval as well as with the Aston Martin own VIN Number so-called level 2 approval. The type plate with the Toyota-VIN isn`t original Toyota (this will be removed in the Aston Martin plant), but a similar looking manufactured by Aston Martin is replaced.
